Hello World,
I am Deborah, mother of two lovely daughters, and one lively granddaughter. After 25 years of service within the state universities system, and receiving yearly notices of my earliest retirement date, upon it's arrival; I retired effective immediately. I decided since my daughters were fairly successful in their lines of work and quietly going about their day to day, it was time for me to make my move. Now, I wanted to travel all over. I did not want to go just some where I wanted to go many places. I embarked upon my second career or so I thought, as a flight attendant. Luckily, the first company I went with hired me and I was off. Loved this job, travelling all over, well soon an opening became available in one of our bases in Hawaii and boom, I am now living in paradise. Well, I tell you once I came here, I no longer wanted to go anywhere else; thus my second career was cut quite short; perhaps four years in total I worked as a flight attendant and loved every minute of it.
I have met so many interesting people here in Hawaii; although I miss my friends back home and I do talk long periods of time with them; still update them and get updated by them almost just like being home. But, back to Hawaii, I met a delightful fellow, we worked together in a non-profit organization for a while, I am still there he left though to finish school and took a bartender's class on the side. Well this guy recently graduated with his Master's Degree in Social Work, "Yay", and can fix the best jalepeno margarita's on the island, as well as mojito's. So, if you ever come to Waikiki, Wang Chung is a must-stop on Koa Street for not only the best mixed drinks but the karaoke, oh my can he sing!!!
